Welcome to Abode Built (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Abode Built and its clients (“you” or “Client”). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

• Abode Built provides residential homebuilding, land development, and construction management services as outlined in the signed agreement or project contract.
• The specific scope of work, including deliverables, timeline, and payment schedule, will be detailed in your contract. Any modifications to the scope must follow our Change Order Policy.

2. Client Responsibilities

• Site Access: You must provide Abode Built and its authorized personnel with full access to the project site during agreed working hours to ensure uninterrupted progress.
• Permits and Approvals: Unless otherwise specified, the Client is responsible for securing necessary property approvals or permissions. Abode Built will manage permits required for construction.
• Accurate Information: The Client is responsible for providing accurate project details and promptly communicating any changes to specifications or circumstances that may impact the project.

3. Payment Terms

• Fees and Payments: Payments must be made according to the payment schedule outlined in the signed agreement. Any deviations must be agreed upon in writing.
• Late Payments: Payments not received by the due date may incur late fees of [insert percentage]% of the outstanding balance per [insert timeframe, e.g., month].

• Force Majeure: Abode Built is not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labor shortages, or material delays.

6. Warranty

• Abode Built is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the project or delays. Liability for damages is limited to the amount paid under the contract.

10. Dispute Resolution

• In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled through arbitration in accordance with [state] law.
